City and Guilds 6129

The C&G6129 is the old NQF qualification (with an end date of 31/01/2013) that used to form part of the Plumbing Apprentice Framework in conjunction with the NVQ.  This has now been replaced with the C&G6189 which is a combination unit, merging the previous technical certificate with the NVQ to create the new framework.  Funding is still available for this qualification if you are aged 16-18 and on a full time course, however, you can still complete the qualification at full cost.

• 211 - Effective Working Relationships in the Plumbing Industry
• 212 – Basic Plumbing Studies Core Underpinning Knowledge (Question Paper)
• 213 - Basic Plumbing Studies Practical Tasks

Level 3

• 300 – Systems Planning (Underpinning knowledge question paper assessment)
• 301 – Complex Cold Water Systems
• 302 – Complex Domestic Hot Water Systems
• 303 – Complex Sanitation Systems
• 304 - Central Heating Systems (Boilers and controls)
