City and Guilds 6189

The new QCF based qualification that replaces the C&G6129 and the C&G6089 is the combined C&G6189. This qualification is a mixture of practical and theory based units and gives various routes into the Plumbing and Heating industry.

Level 2

The routes available at Level 2 are:

• 6189-11 NVQ Diploma in Installing and Maintaining Domestic Heating Systems
• 6189-21 NVQ Diploma in Plumbing and Heating

Level 3

The routes available at Level 3 are:

• 6189-31 NVQ Diploma in Domestic Plumbing and Heating
• 6189-32 NVQ Diploma in Domestic Plumbing and Heating (Gas fired warm air appliances)
• 6189-33 NVQ Diploma in Domestic Plumbing and Heating (Gas fired water and central heating appliances)
• 6189-41 NVQ Diploma in Domestic Heating
• 6189-42 NVQ Diploma in Domestic Heating (Gas fired warm air appliances)
